Brooklyn Brewery

While the popular brewery tour has been temporarily interrupted, you can pick up a bottle or can in the tasting room and go to the bar, the beer stable, or the supermarket. The name Big Ditch is derived from the original name of the brewery, the Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn, New York. Pilsner – Pilsner, brewed under the direction of master brewer Garrett Oliver, was created in the 19th century, when Brooklyn was the brewing center of the country and Viennese Pilsner was a popular place. Oliver has added many innovative and award-winning styles to the Brooklyn Brewery range. You will see a large glass of beer designed by Milton Glaser, who also gave LOVE NY its name, as well as many of his other creations.

Big Ditch Brewing Company

In 1825, New York Governor DeWitt Clinton opened the Clinton Big Ditch, a project he championed to connect the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean. When completed, it was an immediate success, turning the city into a thriving trading port.
