Healthy Restaurants in NYC: Lose the Holiday Pounds

The Christmas holidays are always a bit heavy for the organism. Most of us gain weight, and it’s normal. But we need to get in shape quickly! Here are my favorite healthy restaurants!

The dishes at JaJaJa are prepared with plant-based ingredients, but the restaurant also offers dozens of options to meet any dietary restrictions or lifestyle. Enjoy roasted coconut meat, a tribute to the traditional vegetable cuisine of the Maya, or the vegan version of the classic chicken acho.

Take-away and delivery, with a full range of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as vegan and gluten-free options for a limited time.

The fact is that every dish has been studied by neurologists and dieticians to ensure it is nutritious for the brain. The brain and body feed on protein-rich foods such as nuts, seeds and crushed peanuts, as well as a variety of vegetables and fruits.

Don’t miss – they’ve opened a delivery, so make no mistake and miss it! My favourite menus include the chocolate biscuit with chocolate sauce, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the macaroni and cheese not to be missed, and a variety of salads.

You have take-out and delivery open so you always have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy meal at one of the best healthy restaurants in New York City.

The seasonal menu, which changes daily, is 100 percent vegetarian, with many vegan and gluten-free options. This self-proclaimed “vegetable slaughterhouse” processes fruit and vegetables like meat and cuts fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes. One of my favourite dishes is the e-pepe cauliflower, served with pecorino cheese and vegan butter.

I couldn’t believe there’s a place in New York, but there’s a vegan Indian spot right now, and it’s vegan. I’m a vegan, so I literally couldn’t believe that there weren’t any vegan options on the menu at this vegan-friendly restaurant in the heart of Manhattan.

Consider the vegetable and vegetable broth, a whole protein pasta made from wheat cereals, made with natural, antibiotic and hormone-free protein. The togarashi – flavoured turkey skins, sweet and sour sauce salad and sweet and sour salad with honey – grown honey will surely satisfy you. Highlights include the spicy pork belly and Pepe Nocchi with spicy tomato sauce, as well as chicken and pork chops with garlic sauce.

The mix of nutrients and dense menu is flexible, Even hardcore paleontologists can change them as needed. Fiji Springbone is a paleo-inspired eatery in the heart of New York City, just blocks from Union Square. From here you can enjoy a full service restaurant with a wide selection of vegan and gluten-free options.

Mexican bowls are a fan favorite, but the Veggie Grill will open an all-vegetable menu at the Flatiron in 2019. Veggie Grill is one of the largest 100 percent vegetable brands based in the United States and the first vegan restaurant in New York.

All menus, which are open daily to be picked up, delivered and seated on the terrace, are 100% organic (i.e. free of antibiotics and hormones) and all are free of dairy products, meat, eggs, dairy products, gluten, soy, nut, sugar or refined sugar. The menu includes fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fruits and nuts, and seasonal vegetables.

The menu includes organic agave – freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, teas, coffee and cocktails. The menu consists of grass-fed beef and freshly caught fish, as well as fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fruits and nuts. Enjoy a plate of cauliflower salad, grilled salmon or a salad with fresh herbs and spices.

This Williamsburg bathhouse combines elements of Eastern European bathhouses with non-typical programs aimed at athletes and fitness enthusiasts. It is housed in a renovated limousine from the 1930s and is open for outdoor dining from Wednesday to Sunday. Come to get nourishing food for your body, but stay inside to avoid sweating.

The restaurant’s bathhouse cuisine is connected to the spa and offers some of the best food you can eat in a bathrobe. Seriously, bathers get plush bathrobes for their choice of dinner, and they’re not the only ones.

Highlights include a buffet breakfast with cereals, breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches. It is completely free of grains and refined sugar, so it is a step in the right direction for the healthiest eating habits.

Eating healthy doesn’t mean that you can eat tasty, and these restaurants prove it! However, you must exercise, too!

And be sure to do a lot of cardio!
